Ryan, the owner and founder of Bay Area Aquarium Maintenance has an immense amount of hands on experience and knowledge and is continually studying and learning the newest technologies and techniques in the field of marine aquariums and aquarium life. This unrelenting commitment the field of marine aquariums allows him to consistently provide his clients wth the best, most cutting-edge and up-to-date technology and techniques for their fish tanks.

 

Ryan has worked in local fish stores and volunteered at the Academy of Science. Much of his inspiration is drawn from the Steinhart and its biodiverse and interactive aquariums. Ryan purchases from sustainable sources. This includes captive bred fish, corals, and plants. Absolute care is also taken when disposing of or recycling water so that nothing is wasted. His thirst for understanding expands beyond just marine life as he also holds a bachelor degree from San Francisco State in the field of Anthropology.
